Victoria Marina-Tompkins

Victoria Marina-Tompkins is the director of Flight of the Hawk Center for Contemporary Shamanism in Half Moon Bay California where she has been teaching cross cultural shamanism since 1987. She has facilitated vision quests, long term intensive programs, monthly drumming circles, and has a private practice in shamanic counseling and soul retrieval. In 1994, Ms. Marina produced the music CD "Flight of the Hawk: Shamanic Songs and Ritual Chants" which continues to be distributed worldwide.

She is also a professional Michael channel and astrologer. She has been a student of the Michael teachings since 1980, when she first met the channel known as "Jessica" in the books by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. In 1996 she co-founded The Gateway Associates with Sarah Chambers, the original Michael medium, and Paul Avellar. Since then she has presented at the three Association for Michael conferences, and taught yearly Michael workshops and classes in Half Moon Bay. In March of 2002, The Gateway Associates hosted the first West Coast Michael Retreat with rave reviews. Having worked with the original Michael mediums, she is well versed in the fundamental Universal truth, "All is chosen" which the Michael entity offers us as a reminder for our daily lives. She is known for her compassionate nature and ability to communicate the Michael information clearly and without interference, offering information on life task, past lives, agreements, karma, pesky stumbling blocks that keep up trapped in false personality, and individual essence goals.

Victoria is also a professional violinist having played in the San Francisco Bay Area for many years. She has also been featured in national magazines, television and radio for her groundbreaking work with women and was the founding president of the Women's Exchange, a non-profit women's networking organization. In 1985 she created Tunes for Tots, a music school for children based on the Orff Schulwerk method of teaching music to young children and served as its director until 1995.

At the current time she is a full time channel and spiritual consultant living with her husband John Tompkins on the northern California coast 20 miles south of San Francisco She is the mother of one son, Brendan, and the loving guardian of two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Rosie and Jazz.
